Transistor Six is a super cool group that brings amazing bands to hardcore fans. For this one, they shot and recorded this great band at Franks in Austin, TX and I mixed it down.

Hobbs Magaret is a fierce guitar player and an even fiercer friend. That guitar tone is the result plugging straight into a rotating Leslie speaker, then recording it stereo, and panning as hard as you can go. Great experience. Great music. Great guy.

I met Chad Petty when I was living in Austin, going to an audio engineering school called MediaTech. This recording is a result of hearing him at a bar and loving the sound. The ghostly wails you hear is actually a table saw being bowed. It's hard to beat that B3 as well.
